Issue - December 2009

The year at South West Business Insider closes with our always popular Top 500 list of the region’s biggest businesses. Some have suffered but many are still thriving after a rollercoaster year or two. Elsewhere, our interview this month is with Shaun Davey, who heads Bath IT services firm IPL. It’s a company that has been successful over the course of three decades, which is no mean feat for any company working in a sector that never stands still. Gloucestershire is also in the spotlight this month – our review of the county’s economy and businesses makes for interesting reading as the UK emerges (we hope) from recession.
