This month Insider looks to the public sector and asks whether some of the work up for grabs could give South West businesses the injection they need. Government spending is not immune to the downturn, but there are still a huge number of major projects proceeding across the regions, as well as hundreds of smaller contracts coming out of the councils. So it’s well worth taking stock of what the public sector has to offer – and making a few choice contacts along the way. One day they might just pay off.
