If you have any further queries, please contact Amanda Steele, Events Coordinator at amanda.steele@newsco.com.

How to Vote

THIS NOMINATION FORM IS TO BE SUBMITTED BY 29TH JANUARY 2010

There are nine different categories, each relating to a different business type. You can nominate more than one individual in each category and into any category that you think is most appropriate for the job/task that they are undertaking within your organisation.

The special contribution award will be presented to the Manchester professional who has done the most to further the status and prestige of the professional community through means other than that expected of them in their day-to-day role. Examples of this would include: charity work, organising and networking of events for peers, coaching and mentoring, participation in careers days, advice to other young professionals.

How to Complete the Nomination Form

Your nominations will be treated in the strictest of confidence and will not be disclosed to any third party in any way.

Decisions on this and other matters concerning voting are at the sole discretion of Insider, whose ruling will be final.

Nominees must have been working within your company for at least 12 months. They must work primarily for your firm in the Greater Manchester area. This includes the city of Manchester and the boroughs of Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan and Warrington.

Nominations should be based on the contribution the nominee has made to your business during the period January-December 2009. This could include the following:

• Commitment

• Financial contribution

• Improved working practices/innovative approach

• Impact on client retention/relationships/professionalism

• Leadership management

• Technical skills

The nomination does not have to be based solely on the effect the nominee has had on profitability, but on the overall contribution the individual has made. As this is a young professionals awards, due prominence should be given to achievements not normally expected of someone 35 years or under.

Self nominations will only be accepted if submitted by a senior partner, managing director or their PA.

Judging

Insider, pro.manchester and an independent third party will judge the entries. Their decisions regarding the category winners will be based solely on the entry forms provided. The overall winner will be selected from the category winners. All decisions made by the judging panel are final. Verbal nominations will not be accepted.
