Quotas will lead to rise of "golden skirts"
The introduction of quotas governing the number of women board members in FTSE 100 companies would only lead to the rise of "golden skirts", according to Heather Jackson, the co-founder of the Yorkshire-based Women's Business Forum. Jackson was speaking to Insider ahead of the publication of a report by Lord Davies, commissioned by the government, looking into the issue of female representation on boards.
