RGF will be Scrooge-like, says Wrigglesworth
Sir Ian Wrigglesworth has told Insider the Regional Growth Fund will have a "considerable impact on the north/south divide" over time. However, Wrigglesworth, who is deputy chair of the independent advisory panel that will consider funding bids, said: "A lot of people think we’re Father Christmas, but it will be more like Scrooge." He spoke ahead of the deadline for fund bids, which is midnight tonight.
