The Railway Children steams to America

York Theatre Royal's production of The Railway Children, which this week won the Best Entertainment prize at the prestigious Olivier Awards, is in discussions with producers in New York and Los Angeles after its huge London success. Liz Wilson, the theatre's chief executive told Insider the play, which is backed by Welcome to Yorkshire, is returning to the capital for a further run as well as shipping out to Canada.
