Bridgepoint funds SPTS buyout
SPP Process Technology Systems (SPTS), a Newport company that makes equipment for the semiconductor industry, has been bought by its management team. The buyout from Sumitomo Precision Products of Japan was backed by private equity firm Bridgepoint and values the company at about £125m.
