Exports, finance and R&D are crucial, says manufacturing adviser
Access to finance, encouraging exports, innovation and research should be among the Welsh Government's top policy priorities to help engineering and manufacturing companies, a top adviser has told Insider. Gareth Jenkins, the chairman of the Welsh Government's independent sector panel on advanced materials and manufacturing, said that Wales already leads the UK in developing skills for manufacturing.
