Regeneration fund receives nine proposals
The managers of the Assembly Government’s flagship Regeneration Investment Fund for Wales have received nine proposals from across Wales and hope to make their first investments this year. Lee Mogridge, Cardiff office head of the scheme’s investment manager, Lambert Smith Hampton, told Insider the proposals were split fair evenly between public and private sectors. The scheme’s fund manager, Amber Infrastructure, will seek private sector investment once a few projects are in place and can show a return.
