Construction group likely to be dismantled
A construction industry employer group is understood to be under threat because it does not fit into the Assembly Government’s industry sector strategy. The Welsh Built Environment Forum will be wound up unless its supporters can gain political support for a change of heart. One forum member said closing the group would leave major employers and drivers of the economy "without a clear voice".

Moneysupermarket's got talent as profits quadruple
Moneysupermarket.com, the online comparison site operator, enjoyed a 300 per cent jump in post-tax profits to £7.7m in 2010, which it said was driven by investment in its product and brand. The Flintshire company, which will sponsor Britain’s Got Talent this year, saw revenue rise by 9 per cent to £148.9m.

Match fixing row hits Glamorgan results
Glamorgan Cricket went into the red last year as it was hit by match fixing allegations over two England v Pakistan games played in Cardiff, borrowing costs and the tough economic climate. The club made a pre-tax loss of £366,301 in 2010 compared to a profit of £338,324 a year earlier, but predicted a return to profit in 2012.
