Irwin Mitchell partner slams CFA overhaul
The head of personal injury at national law firm Irwin Mitchell has reacted sharply to the government's proposed reform of the "no win no fee" system describing it as "a bleak day for access to justice". Sheffield-based partner Andrew Tucker said the changes would deter legitimate claimants and added that the seriously injured would be worst hit.

Lyceum backs £50m Access MBO
Lyceum Capital has backed a £50m management buyout of software company Access UK, which has a base in Sheffield. The deal involves Lyceum investing alongside Access’ existing management led by CEO Chris Bayne.
