205 Vion jobs at risk in Sheffield

More than 200 jobs are at risk in Sheffield as food manufacturer Vion considers whether to close its sausage processing site in the city. Vion, a €9bn-turnover (£7.93bn) business headquartered in the Netherlands, said a proposed restructure of its business could result in the transfer of operations to Scotland. It said the Sheffield site was at risk of closure with 205 employees potentially affected.

Work to start on £500,000 Ingbirchworth project
