Portland Works plans withdrawn
Controversial plans to turn Portland Works in Sheffield into apartments and office accommodation have been withdrawn, Insider has learnt. The move has been welcomed by campaigners to stop development on the site, which is home to about 20 businesses.

£11m loss for Yes! Project business
Oak Holdings, the company which was dumped from the £350m Yes! Project by Rotherham Borough Council, has reported a pre-tax loss of £11.5m for the year to 31 October 2010. The developer said the termination of its agreement with the council and an associated £10.9m impairment charge was the main influence on its results.
