Wednesday remain in talks after rejecting offer
Sheffield Wednesday say they are in talks with a "series of potential investors" after confirming a takeover bid from Illinois-based Club 9 Sports was rejected. The club's communications manager Trevor Braithwait told Insider that Wednesday, which are facing a winding-up order for unpaid taxes, rejected the offer as it "doesn't meet the minimum requirements".

GetSET launched in Yorkshire and Humberside
A subsidised coaching scheme for Yorkshire and Humberside has been started for professional women in the science, engineering and technology (SET) sectors. GetSET Women Coaching, the UKRC scheme backed by the government, has recruited Yorkshire-based coaching staff to provide up to six hours of subsidised training for each student.

Chartered surveyors wanted for Yorkshire board

Sheffield hospitals hire ISG
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has hired Interior Services Group (ISG) to provide refurbishment, extension and new build schemes at its five sites. These include the Northern General Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Jessop Wing, Weston Park Hospital and the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital.
