Greggs eyes South West for growth
Greggs is on the lookout for acquisitions as it seeks to establish a footprint in the South West, Insider has been told. Chief executive Ken McMeikan said the company is always looking out for acquisitions at a fair price – but that it has already earmarked locations for its expansion in the south.

Bristol Cars sold to KamKorp Autokraft
Bristol Cars, a manufacturer of luxury hand-built cars, has been sold to KamKorp Autokraft, part of the Frazer-Nash Group. The deal, which has been confirmed by the administrator RSM Tenon, is for an undisclosed sum.

Von Essen hotel owner brings administrators in
The holding company of the Bath-based von Essen hotel chain has gone into administration. Alan Bloom, Chris Marsden and Angela Swarbrick from accountancy firm Ernst & Young have been named as the administrators.

82 jobs saved at GUL
More than 80 jobs have been saved at Bodmin-based surf company GUL International Limited following two deals. The company had previously been in administration.
