Swindon's LEP proposal nears submission
Swindon's LEP proposal will be submitted to government within the next two weeks, Insider has learnt. Ian Piper, chief executive of Forward Swindon – the organisation that is driving the LEP – said the proposal is in "the final drafting stages" and the team is "adding the finishing touches" before submission.

Speakers revealed for Plymouth conference
The speakers at the first South West Media and Innovation Conference have been revealed. Technology entrepreneur Jane Young and Chris Yapp – a consultant who has worked for HP, Microsoft and Capgemini – will both be speaking at the event on 9 June. It is being held at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth.
