Franchise businesses unveil expansion plans
Franchise businesses Wilkins Chimney Sweep and Good Taste Foods are expanding their businesses further, Insider can reveal. The companies unveiled their plans after research showed the franchise industry's turnover increased to £11.8bn during the height of the recession. Pip Wilkins, operations manager at the British Franchise Association, told Insider the number of UK redundancies is a factor that has led to growth within the franchising sector.
