Renishaw set for South West expansion

Gloucestershire-based manufacturer Renishaw is planning a major expansion, Insider can exclusively reveal. Ben Taylor, Renishaw's assistant chief executive, revealed the company plans to expand its Gloucestershire operations and to develop its business in Brazil, India and Russia. Taylor's comments follow the company's bumper third quarter results which were unveiled last week.

Businesses that turn over less than £10m could still receive a chunk of the Business Growth Fund (BGF), according to its chief executive Stephen Welton.
