Profit and turnover leap at RSM Tenon
National advisory and accountancy service RSM Tenon has revealed a turnover increase of 65 per cent in the second half of 2010. The firm, which has offices in Bristol, Bournemouth and Swindon, said underlying profits also climbed by 53 per cent over the six-month period. The firm said it was continuing to reap the benefit of its major acquisitions of RSM Bentley Jennison and certain assets of Vantis, adding it expected the integrations would deliver a contribution of about £10m in cost savings over the next year.

Rotork makes Mexican acquisition
Bath-based engineering business Rotork has acquired Rotork Servo Controles de Mexico SA de CV (RSCM) - its Mexican sales and service agent. Formal completion is to take place following share transfer formalities being finalised. The gross assets of RSCM are approximately £1.6m.

G&S secures new ownership
Bridgwater-based fruit and vegetable wholesaler G&S (Cossey) has secured new ownership. Mark and David Kidner, owners of M&D Kidner and MD Fresh Produce, have taken over the company which will now be known as Cossey Produce. The deal safeguards more than 100 jobs.
