Strong Gloucestershire LEP 'could deliver enterprise zone'
Gloucestershire "stands a really good chance" of getting an enterprise zone after the green light was given for the Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). Suzanne Hall-Gibbins, director of the Gloucestershire Chamber of Commerce, told Insider that the calibre of the LEP board should help to secure a zone.

Schloer backer buys Bottlegreen stake
Private equity specialist Piper has sold its majority shareholding in Gloucestershire-based soft drinks business Bottlegreen Holdings. SHS – the food group behind Shloer, WKD and Merrydown – has bought Piper's stake in a deal is believed to be worth £30m.

Oldham tipped for growth fund job
Paul Oldham, the former Lloyds Development Capital director, has been tipped to be the South West and South Wales regional director of the £2.5bn Business Growth Fund, which will be launched today. The fund is aimed at companies with a turnover of between £10m and £100m.
