Sidonis completes second round of funding
Bath-based Sidonis has completed a second round of investment funding. The capital aims to help service the assurance company to expand its software into new markets. However, the amount of funding and the source were not identified.

New bank for Brislington
The krbs, which is the UK trading brand of OneSavings Bank, has opened in Brislington. The new bank will be operated and managed by South West financial services company IPM Agencies.

BNS builds on success
Bristol-based BNS Management Services has signed up its 150th residential block. The property management company, which launched in 2006, now looks after 3,000 individual units.

NCC in £200m TIC consortium
The National Composites Centre (NCC) in Bristol and Nuclear AMRC are part of a consortium of seven research centres which have been appointed to run the new Technology Innovation Centre (TIC) for high value manufacturing.

Prisk says Budget will deliver for businesses
Business and enterprise minister Mark Prisk has vowed that next week’s Budget will have business at its heart and help to strip away the red tape that holds companies back. He said the Chancellor would deliver the most “comprehensive, pro-enterprise Budget in a generation”.
