Record sales for World Snooker as Hearn eyes new fans

Celebrity sports promoter Barry Hearn has told Insider this year's World Snooker Championship has racked up record sales and is the main revenue generator for the Bristol-headquartered World Snooker organisation. Hearn said he was exploring ways of luring new fans to the sport that leave people "with smiles on their faces wanting more".

Meggitt clinches bank funds
Dorset-based Meggitt has renewed its banking facility. The engineering group said it has refinanced its 2007 banking facility which is a $700m (£428.5m), five-year revolving credit facility provided by 12 international banks and was oversubscribed.
