Multimillion-pound stadium plan for AFC Bournemouth
A multimillion-pound revamp of AFC Bournemouth's Dean Court stadium and a new hotel are on the cards should the club win promotion to the Championship via the playoffs, Insider can reveal. Bournemouth's chairman Eddie Mitchell told Insider: "If we get promotion in the next two weeks then we'll start work on the stadium redevelopment for sure."

£5m LEP office equipment fund launched
A £5m start-up fund has been set up to help local enterprise partnerships buy office equipment and organise training sessions. It is one of a series of proposals being put forward by business minister Mark Prisk to kick-start the new organisations.

Plans are underway to build a £50m indoor ski slope in Weston-super-Mare. The site, claimed to be the "UK’s longest indoor real snow ski slope", would be located at Locking Parklands. LeisureDome is developing the site.

A former hotel in Torquay will be redeveloped into a £5m apartment project. Lingale Properties is the developer behind the scheme.
