Bristol enterprise zone candidates revealed
Temple Meads and Severnside, near Avonmouth, are being considered as possible locations for Bristol's enterprise zone, it has emerged. Colin Skellett, chief executive of the West of England LEP, told Insider: “We had to put two potential sites to government at very short notice and Severnside and Temple were the two that were picked out.”

Clifton office building sold for £2.7m
Grosvenor House, a multi-let office building on Whiteladies Road in Clifton, has been sold to by Bristol-based Ashfield Land to a private purchaser. The deal was for just under £2.7m, reflecting a net initial yield of 8 per cent.

Southern Cross changes rent structure
Southern Cross, which runs 29 care homes in the South West, has informed the landlords of one-third of its homes that in future it will pay rent monthly in advance, rather than quarterly. The move is expected to save up to £10m.
