Jelf eyes bolt-ons after profit return
Jelf Group, which provides advisory services, has told Insider it is on the lookout for bolt-on acquisitions after moving into pre-tax profit for its half-year to 31 March 2011. Alex Alway, the chief executive of the Yate-based business, said: "It has been a very good period."

An appeal has been launched against the refusal of a wind farm in South Gloucestershire. Wind Prospect wants to build a four-turbine site at Stoneyard Lane wind farm near Oldbury-on-Severn.

The Co-operative Group has launched a pilot scheme in Bristol offering free legal advice in three of its banks and building societies. If successful, the scheme could be rolled out to more than 300 branches of Britannia and The Co-operative Bank across the UK.
