Green Compliance acquires Phoenix Fire and Safety
Cirencester-based Green Compliance has acquired Surrey-based Phoenix Fire and Safety, which supplies fire extinguishers, fire alarms, signage and emergency lighting along with fire safety risk assessments and training, for £875,000.

Bristol Council expects 160 redundancies in coming year
Bristol City Council anticipates making up to 160 redundancies during 2011/12. The council that said about 340 posts will go over the coming year on a phased basis, 180 will be through managing vacancies, redeployment and natural wastage.
