Liverpool goes for a Brazilian
Viva Brazil, a £1m restaurant in the historic Bank of Scotland building in Liverpool’s Castle Street, will open this week. Thirty-five new jobs are being created at the restaurant and bar, which will seat over 160 covers.

Morgan Awards shortlist revealed
The shortlist for the Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards has been revealed, with a number of entries from around the region included. The awards were established in 2007 and are designed to encourage entrepreneurship, particularly in social enterprises and charities, and recognise businesses that have prospered against all odds.

Westmorland heads Paver Smith wins
Liverpool-headquartered PR agency Paver Smith has scored a hat-trick of client wins. The business has been appointed to manage a nationwide PR campaign for Westmorland, owner of the award-winning Tebay services on the M6. The deal follows the agency’s support for Westmorland’s recent successful planning application to develop a new service station on the M5 in Gloucestershire.
