Iliad Liverpool student scheme in for planning
Plans by Iliad and the Liverpool Diocesan Board of Finance to build a 250-bedroom student accommodation scheme at the junction of Kent Street and Grenville Street South are to be discussed by Liverpool City Council on Tuesday. The scheme goes before the planning committee with a recommendation for approval.

Days Inn Liverpool opens today
The new Days Inn Liverpool hotel on James Street opens today. The 154-bedroom hotel is the first Days Inn in the city and occupies Moor House, formerly home to the Ministry of Defence, adjacent to James Street station.
