Liverpool-headquartered Bibby Financial Services has expanded its services in the South East after snapping up the client portfolio of an Essex-based invoice finance company. The company has bought 40 clients from Aston Rothbury Factors which was in administration.

The Clubmoor area of Liverpool is one of 50 places in the UK set to recieve a £1m boost from the Big Lottery Fund. The cash has been welcomed by Liverpool City Council leader Joe Anderson who said it was a boost to the city given the wide-ranging public sector spending cuts in recent weeks.
