4 St Paul’s Square a vote of confidence, says Steinberg
The speculative development of 4 St Paul’s Square by English Cities Fund shows “strong confidence” in Liverpool’s ability to compete as a commercial centre, Liverpool Vision chief executive Max Steinberg said. Speaking to Insider at a topping-out ceremony at the 109,449 sq ft scheme, Steinberg said: “This quarter of the city will continue to add huge value to Liverpool’s commercial offer."

Warwick sells £66m distribution arm
Warwick International is set to sell its speciality chemical distribution companies to IMCD, headquartered in Rotterdam. Warwick, based in Mostyn, Flintshire, chose to sell after concluding the companies would benefit from being part of a larger company dedicated to speciality chemical distribution.

The acquisition of US-based Scientific Games Racing (SGR) has caused Sportech’s to post a pre-tax loss for the six months to 30 June 2010. The Liverpool company's loss was £5.9m, down from a £5.1m profit in the same period in 2009.

Joint venture wins £85m NHS contract
