Real Good Food posts loss in “transitional year”
The Real Good Food Company has posted a pre-tax loss of £1.1m for the six months to 30 June 2010, down from £1.3m in the previous financial year. The company’s revenue fell from £101.7m to £90.7m in the period.

Morgan Sindall to build £6.1m school
Construction company Morgan Sindall has won a £6.1m contract to build a primary school in Kirkby. The business will replace the existing Park Brow Primary School in Southdene with a modern 32,000 sq ft building.

Redbrick confirms store plans
Redbrick, the homeware and interiors retailer, has revealed its new 60,000 sq ft store in Liverpool's Hanover Street should be open before the end of next month. The Home Quarter is the second outlet from the company behind Red Brick Mill in Yorkshire.
