Fourth Hospitality sold in £50m deal
Cheshire-based Fourth Hospitality has been sold to private equity firm ECI Partners by husband and wife team Derek and Edwina Lilley – the duo who founded restaurant chains Est Est Est and Piccolino. The company provides web-based back office systems to the biggest names in the hospitality industry.

Green light for £200m Kirkby plans
Plans to regenerate Kirkby town centre have been given the green light by Knowsley Council’s planning committee. The Tesco-led scheme, drawn up after the Destination Kirkby plans with Everton FC were scrapped, is expected to bring in more than £200m of private investment into the town.
