Henley's collapse emphasises high street woes
Designer clothing chain Henley's Retail recorded sales of just £40,000 in the week leading up to the company's administration, laying bare the difficulties still faced by retailers on Britain's high streets. The Manchester business, which operated from 18 stores across the UK, entered administration in March, blaming a combination of sluggish consumer spending and onerous rents for its downfall.
