Peel subsidiary looks to raise £50m after rescheduling debts
A subsidiary of North West property giant Peel Holdings has rescheduled the terms of its debts and is looking to raise £50m. Peel Land & Property Investments has achieved an extension of a deadline to payback debts, which were due next April, until 2040. Peel Land & Property Investments has also been re-registered as a plc to allow it to issue debenture stock on the professional securities market. The company said the £50m raised would be used to pay short-term debts. Peel Land & Property Investments is part of Peel Holdings (Land and Property) which controls the group’s assets in the North West, including the Liverpool Waters and Wirral Waters schemes.
