Oglesby offers reasons to be cheerful
Michael Oglesby, chairman of Manchester’s inward investment agency MIDAS, has indicated there may be a deal on the horizon at the city's next major building, One St Peter’s Square. Speaking at an event convened by architects’ firm Sheppard Robson, Oglesby said: “One St Peter’s Square will almost certainly be the first development off the blocks but it needs a pre-let. Such schemes are totally unfundable without pre-lets currently. I understand that discussions are underway with three.”
