Something for the weekend

Deal of the week
The fact that banks are willing to look at businesses with a green tinge says something about their aspirations post credit crunch. This week Warrington-based Green Lite Solutions, the new trading name for Direct Lamp Distribution, received a £1.2m funding package from The Royal Bank of Scotland. The commercial team in Liverpool put up £450,000 against the Enterprise Finance scheme and asset finance arm Lombard is supporting the purchase of 45 vehicles with and £800,000 package. The company distributes energy efficient lighting; the bank has come up with a funding solution. Enough said.
