Nine successful North West bidders for RGF cash

Norcros expects sales and profits rise
Wilmslow shower and tile maker Norcros this morning said it enjoyed a strong finish to its financial year, with revenues for the year to the end of March expected to be up 7 per cent to £195m.

Accrol pulps the competition
Blackburn-headquartered Accrol Papers has revealed plans for a £6m plant investment that will create more than 50 jobs. The company, which can manufacture one million toilet rolls and more than 500,000 kitchen rolls per day, also expects to increase sales by 30 per cent to £50m in its current financial year.

Sales have fallen at licensed goods trading business Marlwood, based in Stockport, as the company slipped to a full-year loss.
