Seventh heaven for record-breaking N Brown
Manchester home shopping giant N Brown has delivered record results for the seventh consecutive year, buoyed by a 19 per cent leap in online sales to more than £320m. But the company this morning warned it would have to pass raw material price rises onto customers and said it would need to ramp up its promotional activity as consumer confidence remains low.

Strong progress at 2ergo as losses narrow
First-half losses at Salford-headquartered mobile communications business 2ergo have narrowed to £71,000 from £893,000 in the same period in 2010. The business, which also reported a contract win with American network US Cellular, said it had made strong progress in the six months to 28 February with revenue up 7 per cent to £11m.

Bglobal warns on future sales
