Liverpool welcomes Chinese delegation
A high-level delegation from Shanghai is visiting Liverpool today to assess the city as a potential inward investment location. The move is another step in the growing relationships between the two cities. Directors from the Shanghai Clinical Research Centre arrived in Liverpool yesterday and will tour some of the city’s main bioscience sites, including MerseyBio and the Clinical Research Facility at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

Cheshire wound care business Cranage Healthcare has been acquired by international pharmaceutical company Sinclair Pharma. Cranage is a specialist distributor of prescription wound care products with treatments for burns, plastic surgery, dermatology and aesthetic medicine.

College extends Tower space
Wirral Metropolitan College has extended its lease and taken an additional 3,000 sq ft of office space at Peel’s Tower Quay in Birkenhead. The college now occupies 5,000 sq ft of space at the building on a three-year lease.
