Chadwick launches Professional Liverpool rival
Mark Chadwick, the former chief executive of Professional Liverpool, has set up a rival business lobbying group for the region. The group will be known as 'Liverpool City Region: Business & Professionals'. He said: "I want to look forward not backwards, this is a fantastic opportunity for us to build on earlier successes and recover lost momentum."

Survitec adds marine business to its fleet
Birkenhead marine safety and survival equipment company Survitec Group has agreed terms to buy a Yorkshire marine business from Cosalt for £31m. It’s the company's second deal in as many months after swooping for liferaft business SOLAS from US rival Zodiac in April.
