Hill Dickinson reports “satisfactory” year
Liverpool law firm Hill Dickinson has reported a “satisfactory” year of trading after increasing turnover but posting a lower profit share for partners. The firm, which was formed 200 years ago, reported revenues of £82.1m for the year to 30 April 2009, up from £73.3m a year earlier. However, the average profit per full sharing member was down £18,000 to £294,000. The firm said: “We are ambitious for the future and constantly review opportunities for further improvement and growth. Commitment to client service will continue to form the cornerstone of our business strategy." During the past year Hill Dickinson has opened an office in Singapore and completed the merger with Middleton Potts. It now employs more than 1,000 staff across its six offices, up from 944 in 2008.
