Crown Paints set for bright future, says Davidson
A marketing drive and tougher stance with suppliers has helped to revive the fortunes of Darwen coatings manufacturer Crown Paints, its chief executive has told Insider. Brian Davidson also revealed that the impending sale of the business would "not affect for one minute" his strategy for the company. Insider understands two private equity firms – LDC and Barclays Private Equity – along with a trade buyer are in the running to buy the business.
