East Midlands Property Dinner 2008
Gadsby scoops Special Achievement award

The East Midlands Property Dinner 2008 proved to be a special night for Peter Gadsby, as he picked up the coveted Special Achievement award. Gadsby, who has enjoyed a glittering career as a developer, received the award in recognition of his continued work in driving new schemes forward across the East Midlands. Commenting on his win, the judges said: "Gadsby is the people’s developer - one of the few individuals working in the property sector whose name is known to the general public in the East Midlands. He is the friendly face of development." Gadsby has been behind some of the most successful schemes across the East Midlands, and is still announcing deals, not just in commercial property. He’s focused, passionate and has made a huge contribution to many towns and cities, changing the landscape of Derby. The judges summed Gadsby up thus: “He’s done it. He’s delivered and he still doesn’t stop. The story continues. Gadsby is a great advocate for both property and for the region.” Five hundred people packed into the East Midlands Conference Centre to enjoy the dinner, which was hosted by Chris Barrie.
