Sales grow at Booker
Wholesale giant Booker said that sales rose 6.2 per cent for the year to 25 March. Revenue hit £3.6bn at the Wellingborough-based company for the 52-week period, according to a trading update released this morning. The company also said internet sales increased by 29 per cent, accounting for £526m of total revenue.

Rolls-Royce reveals apprenticeship plans
Rolls-Royce has announced plans to create a new apprentice academy, doubling the number of trainees it employs each year. The academy, which will be constructed at the Rolls-Royce 'Learning and Career Development Centre' in Derby, will enable the company to recruit up to 200 additional apprentices annually to train for work in its supply chain.
