Long allays Phoenix fears

The future of Leicester's Phoenix Square is very much assured – that’s according to John Long, development director at Blueprint, which built the £21m mixed use scheme. William Davies, the property developer based in Loughborough, has completed work on an affordable housing scheme in Burton-upon-trent. Charrington House, which holds 34 apartments, was officially opened on the site of the town’s former Trading Standards offices.

The UK Life Science Start-up Report 2010, published this week by Mobius Life Sciences Fund and BioCity Nottingham, helps to identify these opportunities and calls for any public investment to be better targeted at four UK "hot spots".
