NCH signs ten-year deal with council
Nottingham City Council (NCC) has signed a ten-year partnering agreement with Nottingham City Homes (NCH) that both organisations say will secure a long-term future for the city’s council tenants. The leader and chief executive of Nottingham City Council joined Nottingham City Homes’ chief executive and chair of the board to sign the agreement at a ceremony, held at Nottingham City Homes’ head office on Hounds Gate, Nottingham.

NatWest funds Village Motor Repairs deal
A husband and wife team have taken over Village Motor Repairs in Ruddington after securing a funding package from NatWest. The finance package has helped Julian and Helen Baston purchase the lease on the premises in Parkyns Street.

Whisky fraud investigation given funding boost
A research project aiming to crack down on counterfeit whisky and wine has secured £50,000 of funding from the Food and Drink iNet. Experts at The University of Leicester’s Space Research Centre and De Montfort University will use the finance to create a handheld device which will detect fake whisky and wine through the bottle.
