Trent Basin still on course, says Cole
The £350m development of 2,000 homes and apartments at Trent Basin is still on course, despite reports to the contrary, according to Nottingham Regeneration Limited's Marc Cole. Speaking to Insider, Cole said: "We're working hard with ISIS to move the scheme forward. The only thing that's changed is the make-up of the development; we need to use the lull in the market to examine what units will be built. It might be that we need to draw up a new masterplan." The scheme, which has outline planning permission from Nottingham City Council, is a partnership between British Waterways, Emda, Nottingham Regeneration Limited and developer ISIS, which has slashed over 80 per cent off its workload over recent weeks, citing the current market slump as the reason.
