Rolls-Royce signs $2.2bn Emirates deal
Rolls-Royce, the Derby-based power systems manufacturer, has won a $2.2bn (£1.4bn) TotalCare long term services contract from Emirates, covering Trent engines for 70 Airbus A350XWB aircraft. The deal means the airline’s Rolls-Royce powered fleet of 128 aircraft, both in service and on order, are under TotalCare arrangements.

Nottingham victorious in BSF ruling
Nottingham City Council has won its High Court case against the government’s decision to cease funding under its Building Schools for the Future (BSF) scheme. Mr Justice Holman found the government’s decision to quash support under the project was unlawful and "an abuse of power".

Games Workshop extends Warner Bros deal
Games Workshop, based in Nottingham, has extended its six-year licensing agreement with Warner Bros Consumer Products (WBCP). The deal gives Games Workshop exclusive, worldwide and all-language rights to produce tabletop games based on The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings properties.
