Travis Perkins builds revenue growth
Travis Perkins, the Northampton-based builders' merchant and DIY retailer, has reported a rise in turnover of 5.9 per cent over the last four months, it said this morning. The company, which owns Wickes and BSS, said the rise was due to "increased outperformance" combined with product inflation.

Mortar Developments in joint venture with UCL
Nottingham’s Mortar Developments is set to build a £40m mixed-use development for University College London (UCL). The building, on Caledonian Road in London, will provide the university with 346 student rooms, office and retail space.
