Management buyout at Beechdale Motors
Beechdale Motor group has been bought by two of its employees. John Oldfield and Gary Siddall purchased the Derby-based company after founder Les Waterfall announced his retirement.

Mapara takes on Cedarwood
Northampton-based care home Cedarwood Nursing Home has been bought by entrepreneur Manoj Mapara. Mapara, who owns two other care homes in the East Midlands, bought Cedarwood after securing a finance facility from Santander Corporate Banking.

Signalling Solutions secures £21m deal
Signalling Solutions (SSL), which has sites in Birmingham, Beeston and Derby, has been awarded a contract worth about £21m by Network Rail. The company is a joint venture between Alstom Transport and infrastructure services giant Balfour Beatty.
